interactivity of networking, is going to change the way we think about political institutions, and how we think about community, and how we think about representative democracy itself, the idea of representative democracy. Democracy started as the answer to kings and it meant that people went to Washington or to Ottawa or wherever because, they sent representatives there because they themselves couldn’t go. Now we have the opportunity to directly participate in political decision-making and consensus-building and my guess is that we are going to see a new way at arriving at political decision-making that doesn’t include representatives off in some far-off capital.
